Hello everyone! Well, World Cup is finally here. What an exciting start. I am feeling extremely homesick today, as I've been hearing about the fantastic atmosphere and vibe in Cape Town.
I hope South Africa does well, but other than that, I'm not really a soccer fan, to be honest.
Weightloss-wise I've had a nightmare few weeks where I've actually put on 3 pounds overall. My sister had a car accident and wrote of her car - luckily she's ok, my cat went missing and one of my friends from South Africa died tragically - all on the same day! I went into complete and utter self-destruct mode. I grabbed anything I could get my hands on to eat. I am still feeling pretty down, but I am trying to pick myself back up and get my life back on track. I've been tracking again for the last couple of days, so I'm hoping for a loss this week.
I am working three nightshifts this week, starting from tonight. I still find it difficult to stretch my points for 24 hours, especially since I'm awake for most of the time. It's a current challenge. I've been eating a lot of fruit the last couple of days, but my poor stomach protested yesterday, so I'm going to take it a bit slower. (Sorry if too much info!)
I haven't measured myself or taken photos this month as I've gained and it would demotivate me. Anyway, hope you all have a good weekend. Speak to you soon!
