Hello everyone,

Hope you are doing well. These last few days have been very stressful for me, but I've decided to try and not let it get me down. I am going to take a bit of a break from stressing about weightloss and am going to enjoy my holiday. I will restart in the new year and I'm positive that I will do well.

I am going to really try on my holiday to be good. It will be hot in South Africa and my mother-in-law knows that I'm trying to lose weight, so she said she would make lots of salads and we're going to have many "braai's" (South African BBQ's). So, hopefully, I will have a big surprise when I get back and step on those scales again - a good surprise that is!

I will try and post a few pics of Christmas and I will also try and download a few photos when I'm in South Africa. The download speed for the internet is quite appalling though, so we'll see.

I am dissapointed in a way that I have put on the 2 pound I have lost since I started WW. I really wanted to be lighter before going on holiday. However, people are just going to have to accept me as I am. I am going to speak to the doctor when I get back too, as I think my thyroid medication needs reviewing. Don't think the dosage is enough and that's one of the reasons I'm not losing weight.

So, anyway - I am at work at the moment. Finishing at 6am tomorrow morning, and then one nightshift still to go before my days off.
